Pamela Spitzfaden, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, December 22, 2017. Born in Staten Island and raised in Westerleigh, she was married to Tom and had 2 loving children, Thomas and Debbie. Pam worked for the NYC Public Library in Great Kills and had many interest. She enjoyed cooking, going to AC and Vegas with her sister, Kathy and her brother in law, Edward and she truly enjoyed going to Billy Joel concerts with her son, Thomas and her favorite song was, “My Life”. But most of all, Pam enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren.
Pam was predeceased by her father, Louis Verardi, and her daughter Debbie. She is survived by her mother, Kathryn Verardi, her husband, Tom, her loving son, Thomas and Jessica Spitzfaden, her sister, Kathy and Edward Gaeta and 4 wonderful grandchildren, Danielle Long, Dylan, Madison and Ryan Spitzfaden.
Funeral from Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home at 8:45am on Wednesday. Mass of a Christian burial at Sacred Heart R.C. Church at 10:00am followed by a burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Friends to call on Tuesday from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm.
