Louis A. Motola, Sr.

Louis A. Motola, Sr., 89, born 1930 in Staten Island, NY was married to Grace (nee Pagliarulo) for nearly 65 years.  They had two loving children.  

Louis was a NY Yankee, NY Giants and NY Knick fan.  He loved traveling with his wife and family and visited six continents. He was involved with many Staten Island Advance contests and was particularly fond of the Way it Was. Lou was on the board of directors for the Westerleigh Improvement Society and was a local historian.  Louis was also the president of the Staten Island Ballroom Dancers and the Richmond Square Dance Club.  He was also on the board of directors for  the McKee High School Alumni and Friends Association and was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame. 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Grace, his son, Louis (Kathleen) Motola and his daughter, Lorraine Motola.  Also survived by two grandchildren, Nicholas, his finance, Breanna, Christopher Motola and his sister-in-law Camille Lenjosek.

Funeral from Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home on Friday, at 9:15am with a Mass at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church at 10am followed by a burial at St. Peters Cemetery.  Family and Friends are invited to view on Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
