Richard McCray Sr. 78, passed away in Staten Island University Hospital on November 5, 2020. He was born on January 26, 1942, in Holyoke, Massachusetts. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Patricia McCray (nee Ryan), his loving sons, Richard Jr. and Craig, also his loving daughter-in-law Tracey and sister-in-law Maureen Vitkovich. Richard loved spending time with his seven grandchildren, Deanna, C.J., Michael, Joseph, Jack, Francis, and Danielle, whom he always referred to as “baby doll”. Many nieces and nephews will also miss Richard dearly.

Thank you for keeping memories of my Dad, alive for me. I loved hearing stories of him through your eyes. Your Mom, Auntie Pat, was one of my biggest inspirations. Though I didn’t see you often, when I did, you always made me feel like family. That Richie, was my biggest gift. Say hello to those McCrays at the gate for me.
