LTC (Retired) Joseph Rudolph Legato Jr says
I remember my dear aunt Rosemary. We shared the same birthday-18 January. She was eighteen years old the day I was born. I remember seeing pictures of me sitting on my dad’s knee & he was in a tuxedo. My mom told me that I was two & we traveled to New York for Rosemary’s wedding. When I was young I remember Rosemary sending me a birthday card with a dollar every year. When I got out of the Army I began sending her Roses on her birthday. I will miss doing this! Go with God, Aunt Rosemary!
David Marcinek says
I miss you Mom. I miss you in the worst way. You were the gentlest of souls, full of love and kindness. You raised us all well, the best of mothers, even though it was very hard work. Your earthly life was challenging, and you lived it with such strength and enduring patience, and your great faith and works will bring you great rewards in heaven, as you most truly deserve.
“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” Our heavenly Father has prepared a place for you, Mom, a heavenly mansion. May you delight in the joys of the glory and beatific vision of God and walk in His sweet rose garden and streets of gold with all of his beloved. I miss you Mom, and will love you always.
Your loving son,
David

My deepest sympathies and wishes of comfort for you all.
Mark Legato says
Dear Uncle George and cousins,
I am very sorry for your loss. Aunt Rosemary always had a smile and she had an uplifting spirit. I remember most of our Thanksgivings together over Grandma and Grandpa’s house. Praying for you all at this difficult time.
Thomas DeMarco says
Thank you, Grandma, for the love you gave my father and me. I fondly remember playing in the attic and building igloos and snowmen in the backyard as a boy during those cold Staten Island winters. I have so many memories of you and in each you are smiling and happy. That is how I will always remember you. I will be sure to share those memories with your Great Grandson as he grows older. I am glad that he got to video chat with you over Christmas and only wish you were here longer so he could grow older with more memories. We’ll miss you.
