Emilio F. Torres – February 1, 1962 – August 2, 2021
Emilio F. Torres of the Bronx, NY, passed away Monday, August 2ndat Einstein Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. He was 59 years old.
Emilio lived almost his entire life in the City, mostly in the Bronx and Manhattan. In his younger years, he worked as a Home Attendant. He was an artist and loved to share his drawings and talent with those he cared about.
Emilio loved his family, always giving of himself to those he loved. He loved his sisters, keeping in touch on a daily basis and making them smile with quirky videos. Emilio was loved by all who knew him.
He was a devoted husband to Rosanne for 18 years, caring for her until her passing in 2018. He was a loving step-father to Rosie’s daughter, Roxanne Gilbert.
Emilio rejoins his wife Rosanne in heaven, along with his father and mother Rafael and Frances Torres.

Carol Pentol (sister) and her husband Stan
Joanne Mowrer (sister) and her husband Larry
Ruthie Gomez-Stuart (sister) and her husband Tom
Nicky Torres (brother)
Vivian Miranda (sister) and her husband Ray
and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews

My deepest condolences and warm comfort to all of our family and friends. My uncle, Emilio was so kind and always happy to be around family and friends. He would always remind me of my youth years which til today I appreciate and cherish. I will always hear my uncle tell me to let his great nephews be kids and live their best life, happy.
