Patrick W. Baeszler, 31, passed away on October 1, 2022.
Patrick is survived by his fiancée Brittany Gonzalez; parents John Baeszler and Anne Warren; grandmother Rita Baeszler; sisters Annie-Laurie Fischer and Molly Baeszler; brother in-law Timothy Fischer; as well as his beloved niece and nephew and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Patrick was born and raised in Staten Island, New York where he attended and graduated from Curtis High School and later SUNY Maritime to pursue his dream of working in the marine industry. Pat achieved that dream upon graduation when he began his career as an Assistant Captain on the Staten Island Ferry. Before Pat embarked on his maritime career he honed his skills as a talented chef and expert martini maker in the kitchens and bars of the local restaurants in his home neighborhood of West Brighton. Skills he would use to spoil friends and family at backyard barbeques and holiday gatherings all year round. He always kept his side gig as a bartender and would bartend on the weekends in his small town community, West Brighton “where everybody knows your name.” Everyone who knew Patrick loved him.
Patrick loved spending his free time golfing with his dad, John, and friends in the golf clubs at Silver Lake Golf Course. Known for his good conversation, great taste in music and being able to light up a room and always having a smile on his face. These talents were put to great use one night, when a juke box selection attracted the notice of his future fiancé Brittany. That song led to a conversation, which led to a date and the rest was history.
To the world Patrick may have been one person but to most people he was the world. His time with us was far too short but his legacy will live on through all the lives he touched.
In Memory of Patrick we have provided his Memorial Tribute for you to view…..

Patrick I’ll always remember you in uniform at the Goodhue Fields ready to play soccer and enjoy the company of your buds. You always made people feel better when we’d speak. Just can’t say goodbye.

God be with you and your family, Annie, at this sorrowful time.
O Lord, support us all the day long, until shadows lengthen, and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over, and our work is done. Then in thy mercy, grant us a safe lodging, and a holy rest, and peace at the last. Amen
