Silvio Broccoli, 84 passed away peacefully of leukemia and CHF on July 2, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
Silvio was born and raised in Italy. He moved to the United States from Liver pool, England in 1965 after finishing his academics as a hairstylist. In 1966 he married the love of his life, Angela (nee Ventre).

I am so deeply saddened by the passing of Silvio. I just recently ran into him at ShopRite. I helped him with his produce, giving him a bag. When I looked at him, I told him that he looked familiar. He said to me, “so do you!” I asked him if he was Mr. Broccoli, and to his surprise, he said, “yes I am!”
It must have been about 45 years since I saw him last. I grew up on Willard avenue, and went to PS 30 with Gregory. I now work at PS 30, and saw him again a few weeks ago in front of his home, and said hello! I had no idea he was ill. He looked wonderful!
To the family, my condolences to you. He will be sadly missed!
Sincerely,
Donna Juliano Tinari
