May 16, 1952 ~ October 11, 2023
Rosemarie was born in Germany and came to Staten Island in the late 50s, residing here ever since.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Nicholas Sorrentino who she lived in Dongan Hills with. Rosemarie liked to travel, seeing lots of Dometic landmarks. She loved to take trips to Atlantic City and Empire casinos for a day to get away. Rosemarie was an active parishioner of St Ann’s Church for over 32 years, where she was part of the choir and a Eucharistic Minister. Rosemarie loved her many dogs throughout the year and bunny Midnight.
She was a loving mother to her only child, Maria, who is 29 years of age and grand kitty Murray. Also, a loving aunt, sister and cousin.
She was the most selfless person and always put others’ needs before her own. She was a light in many lives and will be remembered in our hearts forever.
She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones after a battle with cancer.
