Frank J. Dolcimascolo, 78, of Staten Island, New York passed away on November 26,2023, due to complications of dementia.
Frank was born on March 30, 1945, to Filomena (nee Valenti) and Frank Dolcimascolo in Staten Island. After graduating from Curtis High School in 1963, he went on to study at the Manhattan School of Music earning a Masters degree in Music Performance, Education and Composition.
While remaining a private music teacher, Frank had a successful career as a Director of Marketing Research for multiple business journals including the Wall Street Journal, Forbes and USA Weekend Magazine.
Frank married his treasured Madeline in 1968 and went on to have two children, Francesca and Pilar. Laughter, music, wine and dancing were his passion. Frank would want to be remembered by his family and friends, as a musician, for his comedic timing and how he loved passionately.
He is survived by his wife Madeline; daughters Francesca and husband, Ian Joseph, Pilar and husband, Jeffrey Rush; grandchildren Kellen(10) Blaise (8) Sutton (5) and Pierce (2); brother Joel, sister-in-law Kathy; sister Joanna Duffy, brother-in-law and best friend Michael Duffy, sisters-in-law Antoinette Pisello and Geraldine Bosakowski and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, December 1, 2023, from 4pm-8pm and services on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 11am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1091 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, New York 10310.

The thing that comes to my mind,
I remember Frank coming over to my folks house on Sherman Ave ,and he would listen to Salsa music with my mom.. I know he was trying to hone his musical skills. And would always be playing gigs in the mountains..
I know it’s bittersweet to Madelyn and the girls.. but now he’s playing his horn
