Loving sister of the late Michael Suppo Jr., Carolina, Anthony, Louis, John and Dianna Suppo.

Angelina was a proud graduate of Port Richmond High School, Class of 1944, who enjoyed a 44 year career in the ship building industry. Initially, she served as Secretary and Stenographer to the Materials Supervisor at Bethlehem Steel Company’s Staten Island, Shipyard, where she worked on the construction of over 44 destroyers and attended launchings with many famous celebrities of the day including the handsome American Actor Tyrone Power. When that shipyard closed in 1961, Angelina spent ten years at The Bethlehem Steel Foundry and Propeller Plant in Staten Island, Serving as Confidential Secretary to various mangers. Upon the closing of the Facility in 1971, she moved to the Bethlehem Steel Hoboken Shipyard where she became Secretary to the Purchasing Manager, and eventually a Buyer for the Shipyard, assistant with the repair and overhaul of many famous ships and luxury liners including The
Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE@) and the legendary aircraft carrier, Intrepid. When that facility closed in 1983, she became the Purchasing
Manager for the Hoboken Shipyard Marine Ocean Terminal, where she remained until retiring in 1988. In her free time, Angelina always enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was also and avid reader who loved watching game shows and old movies on television. In her last years, she resided at The Esplanade Luxury Senior Residences on Staten Island, where she enjoyed weekly bingo games and relatively good health, celebrating her 98th birthday just a few days before she suddenly passed.

Cherubini-McInerney Funeral Home, 1289 Forest Ave Staten Island, NY 10302, with
Funeral Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 10:45am at St.
Teresa RC Church. Interment at St. Peters Cemetery.
