Emily J. Morrison, November 5, 1928 – February 12, 2024

Emily J. Wilkinson, lovingly known as Em, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2024 at the age of 95 in Staten Island, New York. She was born on November 5, 1928 in Staten Island, New York to the late Emily (Perine) and Thomas Wilkinson. Emily was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Morrison, her brother Don Wilkinson and her brother-in-law James Morrison. Emily was proud to be born and raised on Staten Island and her roots could be traced back to the Perine House which is the oldest house on Staten Island. Em was an exceptional athlete who loved playing and watching sports.

She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing a round of golf. Her and Bob liked to travel to Las Vegas and Atlantic City when he retired. She cherished the time spent having lunch with her dear friends and spending holidays with her family. Emily was very involved in her church Immanuel Union Church.

Emily always had a smile on her face and liked to joke around. She never forgot a birthday! She will be deeply missed by her surviving family members, including her sister-in-law, Maryann Wilkinson, her niece Pamela Wilkinson (John), her nephew, Jeffrey Wilkinson (Sue), her great niece, Jessica Fiore (Gustavo), her great nephews, Dylan (Theresa), Justin (Alexis), Corey (Lexi) and her great-great nephew, Lucas. She also leaves behind her wonderful neighbors George and Marguerite Bergin, and her dear friend Beverly Mooke.

The funeral services for Emily J. Wilkinson will be held at Cherubini Mcinerney Funeral Home, located in Staten Island, New York. The funeral home will assist with all arrangements to honor Emily’s life.
