Diane M. Larsen, 54, of Staten Island, New York, passed away peacefully at home on April 5. Born in Staten Island, New York, she was the daughter of Eva Meyer and Bernard F. Larsen, Jr. Diane received her Bachelor of Science Degree from The College of Staten Island in Accounting, but chose to continue her career as a Customer Service Representative at Con Edison, where she worked for the past 32 years.
Diane had many passions in life including music, her love of animals, a good crime novel or TV show, and of course her family. She was strong and caring, always willing to listen with excitement. Her infectious laugh and sassy comebacks will be missed.
Diane is survived by her devoted mother, Eva Meyer and beloved step father Robert Scott. Diane leaves behind her twin brother, Bernard F. Larsen III and her younger sister, Michelle Meyer, who, along with her mother and stepfather will never stop missing her. Diane also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. Diane is predeceased by her loving grandparents. Her passing leaves a gaping hole in the hearts of anyone who had the privilege to know her and love her.
Funeral from Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home, 1289 Forest Ave, S.I. N.Y. Friday April 12th Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church at 10:00am. 1091 Forest Ave, S.I. N.Y. Followed by Burial at Moravian Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received Thursday April 11th from 2-4 and 7-9
In Lieu of flowers please make donations in Diane’s memory to American Diabetes Association or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital

A Beautiful Saint when she was among us, Diane now has been called by the Lord to Heaven. I was employed by Con Edison from 1972 -2014.. I have many cherished memories of working on matters with Diane. She was very hardworking, and a joy to work with.
