Richard was born in Jersey City on October 20, 1940. After his retirement, he joined the security team at Dow Jones & Co. in The World Financial Center where he was honored to be the recipient of the Kilgore Employee Excellence Award for his bravery on 9/11.
Richard & Alice chose to live their golden years in a beautiful adult community in Jackson, NJ. They enjoyed spending time with their family, especially the time spent with their eight grandchildren who lovingly called him PopPop. He & Alice also spent time traveling in the United States, and they enjoyed their many trips to Maine.Throughout Richard’s life he always loved the outdoors…swimming, bike riding, kayaking and camping.
