Dennis Joseph Abrigo passed away at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn on October 23, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 55.
Dennis was a graduate of Xavier High School in Manhattan, Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and New York University where he earned his Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology. Dennis had a long career with the Aetna Life Insurance Company where he worked as a Human Resources Manager specializing in Benefits Administration.
Dennis loved his Phi Kappa Psi fraternity brothers, spending time with family and friends, good and far drives, and the “finer” things. He found life-long inspiration from the music of Bruce Springsteen and the highs and lows of the Jets and Mets.
He is the beloved son of Dr. Lourdes Abrigo and the late Dr. Anatolio Abrigo, loving brother to Anna Abrigo and the late Maria Abrigo and loving nephew to Lourdes Mantaring.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann’s RC Church on Monday at 10:00am followed by a Private Cremation. Family will receive friends on Saturday, 2pm-7pm and Sunday, 2pm-6pm at Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home, 1289 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, NY.
