James DeMeo

James DeMeo, 73, of Mariners Harbor, S.I., passed away on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at the Addeo Hospice Residence.
James was born on Staten Island and resided in Mariners Harbor all of his life. He was employed at Acme supermarkets in Staten Island and New Jersey until he retired when he was 65 years old.
He was predeceased by his parents, Pasquale and Anna DeMeo, and his brothers, Michael, Nicholas, and John DeMeo.
He is survived by his brothers, Patrick (Janet) of Melville, N.Y., Donald (Kathleen) of S.I, and Joseph (Mary) of Metuchen, N.J., along with his sister-in-law, Theresa DeMeo, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitiation will be Wednesday, Nov. 22. from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cherubini -McInerney Funeral Home (formerly Meislohn Silvie), 1289 Forest Ave., S.I. Cremation will be private.
