Jennie Polizzano, 91
Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother
Jennie Polizzano passed away peacefully at her home in Broomfield, Colo., on Nov. 24, 2018. She was 91.
Jennie was born July 23, 1927, to Joseph Arnone and Fannie Santangelo Arnone, and grew up in Staten Island, N.Y.
She married Joseph Polizzano on Jan. 16, 1949. The couple lived in New Jersey for many years, where they raised their two daughters, before moving to Florida in later life. They moved to Colorado in 2005.
Jennie worked as a seamstress before becoming a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Polizzano of Louisville, Colo.; a granddaughter, Nicole Mok and her husband, David; and three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Owen, and Jackson Mok.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2013; her daughter, Joanne Varga in 2008, and her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Louisville, Colo., on Dec. 4. Interment will take place at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Rd., Staten Island. Prior to interment, friends and family are invited to attend a gathering at 10 a.m. at Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home, 1289 Forest Ave., Staten Island.
