John Francis Padula, 79, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2019, at his home in Parlin, N.J. surrounded by his loving family. John was born and raised in Staten Island and resided in Port Richmond with his family until 2001, when he relocated to Highland Mills, N.Y.
He enjoyed living upstate as he had a love for nature, he enjoyed spending time hunting and was skilled in taxidermy. John was accomplished in martial arts and had earned a 3rd degree black belt in Karate. He was a tattoo artist, a collector of antique cars and prided himself on his Halloween Display every year. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle and was proud to be a member of the Moose Lodge.
Above all things, John had a deep love for his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He lived his life to the fullest and will be greatly missed
John is predeceased by his dear wife of 41years the late Helen (nee Klophaus). John leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Patricia Gibson and her husband Scott, Margaret E. Padula-Louszko and husband James, Patricia Gibson and husband Scott, His adoring grandsons Matthew and Brandon Gibson.
Funeral at Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home, 1289 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, NY. Monday, December 30, 2019 at 11:00am. Burial to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Staten Island. Family and friends may visit on Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
