Lucille D’Alessandro, 89, passed away on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 at Spring Oaks Assisted Living in Lanoka Harbor, NJ. Lucille was born on February 6, 1928 in NYC, NY. She lived in Brooklyn and worked for Monarch Wines before retiring to Toms River, NJ and Palm Springs, Florida with her late husband Phil D’Alessandro. Lucille enjoyed plenty of activities such as dancing, card playing and being a part of the social community. She also was an avid reader and crossword puzzle enthusiast who loved to play Texas hold-em on the computer. She also was a member of the Italian Club and Red Hat Lady Club. She especially enjoyed Tuesday mornings with breakfast club girls. Lucille was married for 53 years to the late Phil (Tut) D’Alessandro. She was a devoted mother to her children, Debra Mica and John D’Alessandro (Toni-Ann) and grandmother to Lisa, John, Kristen and Anthony as well as two great-grandchildren, Justin and Nicolette.
