Native Staten Island Air Force Veteran, Raymond Crimmins, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 10. He was born and raised in Staten Island and worked there as a bricklayer for most of his working life. For the last 10 years of his career, Raymond was the Staten Island Business Agent for the Bricklayer and Allied Craftworkers Union, Local No 1. He was a member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen for over 50 years.Raymond is survived by his devoted wife, Dorothy, to whom he was married for over 41 years. He is also survived by his children, Mary Coffey (Phil Blitz), Michael Coffey and James Coffey (Sandra Villecampa). He was blessed with six grandchildren, Danielle Bruckbauer (Pete), Nicole Coffey, James Ryan Coffey, Kathryn Blitz, Eunbi Chung and Lachlan Coffey, as well as great-grandson, Jackson Bruckbauer. He is predeceased by his parents, Harold and Ruth Crimmins and his son, Thomas Coffey (Youn Hee Chung).
