Rosemarie Calamari Lauria
Rosemarie passed away peacefully on October 24, 2021 at the age of 91.
Rosemarie was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She met and married her wonderful husband, Ben, on October 22, 1955. They moved to Staten Island, where they raised their three sons. Rosemarie worked as a secretary for many years at both Metropolitan Life and Home Life Insurance Companies. When Ben and Rosemarie retired they relocated to Phoenix, Arizona. After she lost her beloved husband, she left Arizona and moved to New Jersey.
Rosemarie loved going to Atlantic City and Las Vegas and playing cards with her friends. She also loved to crochet gifts for her friends and family.
Rosemarie was predeceased by her husband Ben. She is survived by her sons, Alan, James & his wife Christine, Pete and his wife Robin, along with her grandchildren, Jason & his wife Nicole, Nicholas, Andrew, Jesse, Christopher and Ariana and her great-grandchildren Brianna and Michael.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 2pm-5pm at Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home, 1289 Forest Ave, Staten Island, NY.

I’m sorry that I was not aware of this until now. I will miss Roe and her wonderful sense of humor. We worked together for many years at home life and she was one of my closest friends there. In the past few years we didn’t really see very much of each other, but she was always in my thoughts. May she rest in eternal peace, happy that she is reunited with Benny.
