Tim attended St. Sylvester’s grammar school on Staten Island and graduated from New Dorp High School in 1978. After graduation, he worked for the Commodities Exchange in Manhattan for a few years. He also worked with his friends to start a musical group called the Billies, which was popular in NYC in the 1970’s. Tim could remember the lyrics of many rock ‘n roll songs and earned the nickname ‘Elton,’ short for ‘Elton John’ who also has a wonderful memory of song lyrics. When Tim attended the College of Staten Island, he started a news magazine called Ictus Review, which offered creative commentary for students.
Tim and Ginny have enjoyed the comfortable nature of Staten Island’s north shore and have diligently worked on their house to make it their own. October 17, 1998, when the Yankees won the first game of the World Series… and eventually won all the games in that Series.

He was a hell of a guy Ginny, fiery and creative in a uniquely passionate way. A huge part of that Staten Island wave of creativity during the 80s-90s that I have many great memories of him being part of. We all cheered each other on in our raucous endeavors. The world will be much less colorful now that he’s left it.
